Product Warranty & Support

Warranty Policy

This policy explains how manufacturer warranties, warranty claims and Australian Consumer Law rights work for products purchased from Kwickshop.

Manufacturer warranty Consumer guarantees Assessment required
Important: Manufacturer warranties are in addition to any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. Your consumer guarantee rights do not disappear because a manufacturer warranty has expired.

Keep your invoice

Your Kwickshop order confirmation or tax invoice may be required for warranty support.

Assessment may be needed

Some products need manufacturer, supplier or authorised repairer assessment before a remedy is confirmed.

Misuse not covered

Damage from misuse, accidents, liquid damage or unauthorised repair may not be covered.

1. About this policy

This Warranty Policy applies to eligible products purchased from Kwickshop, including electronics, smartphones, gaming products, furniture, home appliances, power tools and package deals.

Warranty coverage may vary by product, brand, manufacturer, supplier and product category.

2. Manufacturer warranty

Many products sold by Kwickshop include a manufacturer warranty. The warranty period and warranty conditions are usually provided by the product manufacturer.

  • Some products may need to be returned to the manufacturer or authorised service centre.
  • The manufacturer may require proof of purchase, serial number and fault details.
  • Warranty timeframes may vary by brand and product type.
  • Kwickshop may help guide you, but warranty decisions may be made by the manufacturer or authorised assessor.

3. Australian Consumer Law

Products sold in Australia may come with consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. These guarantees may apply regardless of any manufacturer warranty.

If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy depending on whether the issue is major or minor and the circumstances of the purchase.

4. What warranty may cover

Warranty or consumer guarantee support may apply where a product has a manufacturing fault, fails under normal use, does not match the description, or does not perform as reasonably expected.

  • Manufacturing defects.
  • Electrical or mechanical faults under normal use.
  • Faults that appear within the relevant warranty or reasonable product life period.
  • Products that do not match the description or agreed specification.

5. What may not be covered

Warranty support may not apply where the issue is caused by customer damage, misuse, abnormal use or unauthorised handling.

  • Accidental damage, drops, cracks or impact damage.
  • Liquid damage or exposure to moisture where not intended.
  • Misuse, neglect or failure to follow product instructions.
  • Unauthorised repair, modification or software changes.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by incorrect installation, assembly or storage.
  • Missing serial numbers, altered labels or tampered products.

6. Warranty claim process

  • Contact Kwickshop with your order number and product details.
  • Describe the issue clearly and provide photos or videos where possible.
  • Provide serial number, model number and proof of purchase if requested.
  • Follow our return, inspection or manufacturer assessment instructions.
  • Wait for assessment before arranging repair, replacement or refund.

7. Remedies

Depending on the product issue, assessment result and applicable law, the remedy may include repair, replacement, refund, spare part support or another reasonable solution.

Kwickshop will not refuse a remedy that is required under Australian Consumer Law.
